Software Development Project Manager,   Cape Town,   South Africa
•Project implementation:Ensure smooth implementation of projects and delivery within customer timing and quality requirements.

•Account Management: Ensure an excellent relationship with the clients are in place and assist business development with identifying new opportunities within established customers.

•Project Management: Ensure that customer requirements and Development team outputs are aligned. Adherence of development managers to project timelines and governance. Client interaction at a project level including management against contracts. Scope management and prioritisation. Effective change management and communication. Risk and issue management with log management and timeous communication to stakeholders. Assist business development with RFQ/RFI submissions. Project planning in association with the clients, negotiating contract and project deliverables. Contract negotiation and management. Negotiation of pricing and terms of payment in consultation with Finance. Manage adherence to contract baselines. Pre-sales support. Time, quality, budget and benefits constraints met.

•Financial Control: Ensure that all technical agreements, transactions and activities are processed and approved as per delegations, policies and procedures. Only approved overspends occur on the technical budgets. Ensure project profitability (fixed price contracting)

•Product Input and presentation: Feedback on products are reported to technical and business development teams. Customers are informed of all product developments that might be applicable to them or present an opportunity to Entersekt.

.Project Reports: Regular project reporting to various reports on project progress and status to management

.Business Development: Identify and drive new business opportunities inside the external client organization, and ensure Entersekt is well regarded.

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications and Experience:

•Technical degree, preferably in IS, Development or Engineering
•3 years’ experience with software implementation projects is essential, and exposure to Agile methodologies will be beneficial.
•Demonstrated ability to deliver with a strong external, client facing focus.
•Experience in managing client relationships and working to external client timelines
•A track record of implementing software applications.

Skills and competencies:

•Knowledge and practical experience in project management methodologies, procedures and systems.
•Manage internal relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. development teams, while not being allocated dedicated development resources.
•Negotiating contracts and deliverables with clients.
•Financial invoicing experience (Fixed price billing)
•Customer relationship and expectation management
