|Telecom Project Manager ,   Not Specified,   Angola|
Reporting to the Global Project Manager, the Telecom Project Manager will have the responsability over the Telecom stream of the project (IP Core system, Data Network, GPON...). He will have to manage the selected vendors/subcontractors, making sure that they deliver in time, cost and quality, and interface with the customer and his consultant to insure customer satisfaction, while closely monitoring risks and managing changes orders.
He will integrate within a global team and coordinate actions with his peers managing the other project's streams, and with head office team.
Individulas we are interested in must have at least 5 years experience working as a Project Manager within the Telecommunications Industries.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Expertise and qualifications that are highly desirable include but not limited to:
Substantial experience in system integration. Telco background.
Proven experience of successful and large-scale implementations of complex systems
Proven ability in building and leading teams to successful meet project outcomes
Ability to engage and communicate with senior stakeholders across the business and customer.
Leadership experience is expected at middle or senior management level.
Ability to break down complex tasks into a plan that can be understood and executed.
Experience in working in emerging countries.
Certification as a project management professional (i.e. PMI or Prince2)
Telecom Engineer, Bachelor degree or equivalent.
Good Portuguese or Spanish Language Skills.
Fluent written and spoken English,
The Project Manager shall have experience in delivering IP/MPLS core systems.
Additional experience in GPON, DWDM, LTE is valuable.
Assignment is for one year, renewable.
