Purpose:

The role of the Talent Advisor, Global eLearning will be focussed on developing eLearning solutions aimed at increasing the competence and capability of WorleyParsons’ people. The individual in this role will be reporting to the Group Manager, Technical Development and will work closely with subject matter experts from a diverse set of technical functions.

Responsibilities:

Work with members of the Technical Development team and subject matter experts to define course needs, priorities, modifications, and updates
Lead and assist in course development activities, including writing, storyboarding and production
Create case studies, conversational narratives and interactive scenarios with the objective of increasing learner job performance
Report on course development progress, project development prioritization, content developer scheduling issues and course release information
Review and test course offerings from outside sources, providing feedback and solutions for implementation by various functions
Pursue and promote innovation, creativity, and streamlining in the development and use of eLearning

What you will bring:

Knowledge of e-learning technologies and deployment strategies is required.
Demonstrated application of adult learning principles and instructional design practices.
Demonstrated ability to create engaging, interactive, and effective training and performance materials that support the course learning objectives.
Ability to independently manage projects with a proven track record of managing multiple deliverables produced by large, diverse teams.
Strong advisor/partnering skills to work effectively with peers, subject matter experts, and other business partners.
Ability to identify procedural roadblocks, and recommend and implement improvements in our internal processes and procedures.
Work samples will be required.


Job Requirements

Technical and Industry Experience:

At least 3 years experience in instructional design, curriculum development, instructional technology, multimedia technology.
Experience using authoring, multimedia, and graphics tools (e.g. Adobe Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, etc.).
Practical knowledge of AICC and SCORM specifications

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training

Required:

Bachelor’s degree, in related field.

This is a remote home office based position and could be located in any global location.
