Provides technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products.
Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions.
Have experience with network and experience with network operations, network planning, security operations.
Experience with Network forensic analysis and Security forensic analysis leveraging tools such as Wireshark. Have solid understanding of TCP/IP, Network Analysis and Troubleshooting, Network Security and threat mitigation.
Designed or deployed solutions based on Linux based network appliances, Have an understanding of Gigamon, Netoptics, VSS, Network Tap solutions.
Have excellent written, interpersonal and presentation skills to both large and small audiences. Effectively present the Blue Coat solutions to prospects and channel partners.
Assist sales and channel partners in the technical details required to generate a quote. Work with prospects, existing customers, and channel partners to identify business and technical needs where the Blue Coat technology can provide benefit. Respond to RFI and RFPs.
Design solutions based on Blue Coat technology that provide business and technical benefit to prospects and existing clients based on their identified business and technical needs
Clearly articulate the business and technical benefits of the Blue Coat solution to prospects, existing customers, and channel partners via conversation, live presentation, WebEx, and in writing.
Can mentor eval/demo with customers and partners for Blue Coat technologies. Can identify/qualify technical opportunities independently. Influences Sales strategy. Can deliver sales pitch/whiteboards at CxO level independently. Can help determine viability of opportunity and map out political structure. Able to articulate business value of technology solution.
