Join us at the world’s most innovative bank as an IT Release Analyst where you will ensure changes to environments are successfully administered through release management processes, policies and general project management practices. Supporting the Release Manager your role will ensure deployment release and synching for the entire Asset Finance Division whilst ensuring these changes are successfully administered by developing documentation and plans based on requested control procedures. Playing a key role in an ever-changing IT environment it is vital that you are agile and change orientated with the ability to “think on your feet” and rapidly absorb and apply new technical information effectively.
Use your advanced scripting skills and three or more years of technical experience in configuration management and build process development to design, implement and manage builds as well as install, configure and maintain source control management systems. Your IT related qualification and ITIL V3.0 certification will enable you to work across multiple development test, pre-release and production environments with ease. Exposure to Maven, Ant, Java and experience on both Windows and Linux will open the doors to this long term opportunity to be at the cutting edge of development and forefront of modern technology.
Desired Skills and Experience
Release analyst will be responsible for writing and maintaining build scripts,
Deploy release for all environments and Synch the environments,
Install, configure and maintain Source Control Management systems
Compile contents for the release note
Release analyst works with Release manager in the IT department
Must possess strong process knowledge of System Development Life Cycles.
Flexible, must be able to change priorities quickly, focus on new tasks without distraction, able to deal with conflict and work under pressure to meet deliverable dates / timelines.
CVS or any other source control
24 x 7 x 365 operations - evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required.
4 - 6 years experience in IT
BA/BS degree in computer science or suitable technical qualification.
ITIL V3.0 Certification
Basic Project Management
Good knowledge of Java
Can do extensive scripting
Experience on both windows and Linux
Experience in defining, implementing and maintaining complex branching strategies.
experience using Ant and Maven
Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
