Role Summary
The Sales Team are considered crucial to the growth and continued success of Risk Analytics products and its need to retain its global market position. Each member of the Sales team has responsibility for both developing and growing the business and for the sales potential across their specific allocated territory.

Key responsibilities include:

• Prospect Identification within assigned territory and named accounts (assisted by marketing). Territory is South Africa
• Establishment of contact with appropriate prospect executives
• Build professional relationships with prospects and existing clients
• Mounting sales campaign within designated accounts
• Bid managing response to RFI's(Request For Information) and RFP's(Request for Price)
• Co-ordination of appropriate resources as part of the sales process (Client Services, IBM executives etc.)
• Achieving annual sales target by selling of Algorithmic and Open Pages software, consultancy and training services
• Negotiating (with management approval) client contracts and licenses
• Prepare quotations according to the list price for all Algorithmic and Open Pages software to clients. (with management approval)
• Ensure and maintain Customer satisfaction with clients mindful of the annual maintenance paid by clients
• Account managing client during project implementation with Client Services and ensuring client payments are received
• Achieving follow on/up selling into account base of new products and services
• Identify and maintain relationships with partner sales channels.
• Working with colleagues in other brands and territories to achieve global sales

Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 5 years experience in sales experience selling complex banking solutions and products to the financial services industry.
At least 5 years experience in Strong understanding of Enterprise Risk Management and Governance, Risk and Compliance within financial sector.
At least 5 years experience in Strong understanding of implementation cycle/methodology around ERM(Enterprise Resource Management). Good customer contacts and account knowledge in appropriate territory
At least 5 years experience in in winning new accounts as well as all aspects of account management and add-on sales into existing client base
At least 5 years experience in Proven track record of new sales within a financial software applications company. Strong customer facing, Presentation & Writing skills
At least 5 years experience in direct sales in Finance or Financial Software company. Ability to define value proposition across finance sector and risk types
English: Fluent
Preferred
Master's Degree
At least 7 years experience in sales experience selling complex banking solutions and products to the financial services industry.

Additional information
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken (ability to negotiate contracts and deals in English is essential).
• University degree in finance/computer science or business related preferable. Relevant post graduate degree, GARP, CFA qualification would be advantageous.
