|Unified Communications Specialist,   Not Specified,   Nigeria|
This is a hands-on position. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing our Unified Comms solutions and support operations. This position will provide technical support to internal staff as well as limited customer technical support.
Direct and/or validate technological choices, and draw up overall and detailed architecture plans
Be accountable for technical aspects of a solution, developing complex solutions, and ensuring short-, medium- and long-term business relationships and client satisfaction
Will work closely with the Projects team to build solution to meet customer’s needs.
Keep abreast with advanced Unified Communication technology used by the industry.
Assume responsibility for technical studies, and make recommendations for products and services covering overall client IT applications.
Provide support for UC products and services for the projects and customer support staff
Evaluate costs and labour for UC solutions
Solution development and integration with other specialized disciplines: network security, wireless network, IP telephony, call centre, etc.
Desired Skills and Experience
Knowledge of products and equipment used in UC solutions; please specify in CV;
Good knowledge of UC solutions and the all the components of a UC solution (Conference, presence, messaging, voice, Contat Center); please specify in CV;
Understanding of IP communications and general networking concepts.
Good writing ability in English
Ability and acceptance to work under pressure.
Preference for a candidate with Vendor’s certification (Cisco, Microsoft); please specify in CV;
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Industry-recognized certification for major product manufacturers (Cisco, Microsoft); please specify in CV;
Familiar with typical desktop applications.
Five years of experience developing UC or Voice solutions
Five years of experience in customer relations
