Software Engineering Manager,   Randburg,   South Africa
We are transitioning the Middleware development and testing team from China to Randburg, South-Africa. For this team we are looking for an Engineering Manager. You will be building and managing your team in Randburg.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Provide focused leadership to a multi-disciplinary software development team to ensure on-time, quality product releases to meet business demands and supporting the continued success of the business.
Achieve this by providing architectural and technical guidance for product development to ensure that sound engineering design, process, safety and security practices are followed as well as overseeing software certification processes to ensure that high quality and compelling software products are delivered.
As part of the global R&D management team develop and implement product development processes including coding standards, technical documentation standards, QA processes, build, and configuration management. Ensure that such practices are followed.

Desired Skills and Experience
You must have 10 years of experience in software development industry
You must have prove track record on software production processes, especially driving teams producing software products for consumer market.
Excellent people management skills.
Ability to recruit, motivate and lead a team.
Strong product development and engineering skills.
Strong English language communications skills, both written and spoken.
Able to excite and motivate employees, partner and customers with a compelling vision.
Able to work independently yet collaborate cross-functionally in a team environment.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally.
Strong influencer capable of securing support internally and externally
Have a positive, enthusiastic, “can-do” attitude.
