Compulynx has launched e-campus, which is a transformative software that automates the services provision in educational institutions.
The e-campus is a multi-application smart card and Biometric solution which is designed to create a cash-less society within university campuses and automate the service provision by universities to its students in one platform, making the services easy to manage and accountable in all aspects.
Through e-campus, Compulynx has been able to break barriers hindering management of services offered by universities and other learning institutions as it helps enhance the efficiency of managing the service provision to students in one platform, making the services easy to manage and accountable in all aspects.
Speaking during the event to mark the launch of the e- campus, Compulynx Group CEO Mr. Sailesh Savani said the transformative software had been engineered to very high standards and meets the strict requirements of many global institutions.
"We have been privileged to successfully this system to leading universities in Kenya," added Savani.
The e-campus solution can be customized to meet the varying requirements of many educational institutions like universities, colleges and schools. It can also be delivered through Software as a Service (Saas) platform, which is the best known branch of cloud computing delivery model. With this model, applications are, hosted and managed in a service provider's data centre and paid for on a subscription basis.
In regard to the growth of students enrolments in institutions of Higher Education in Kenya, this solution will go a long way in improving quality of services provision by this institutions and their accountability because the card can serve as an ID, a gate, parking, building, lecture examination library hostel lab access or pass among a host of other services that can be automated securely by a single card.
With the launch of e-campus Compulynx becomes one of the first technology firms in East Africa to introduce a fully integrated educational service management application on a single card .Earlier last year, Compulynx was awarded the Kenya Vision 2030 Innovation Award for its IT solutions for poverty reduction.
