The ICT buzz in Africa – the mobile boom, deployment of submarine cables, widespread deployment of terrestrial fibre optic networks and new innovations such as mobile money – has caught the attention of many people, including an Internet radio DJ.

In an effort to bring awareness to Africans in the Diaspora and at home on the progress of ICT and its impact on the African continent, an Internet radio DJ has initiated a programme to discuss several ICT topics. On her programme, DJ Hope (or Nyaradzo Mafolo) invites African ICT experts to answer questions on Visionfm.co Internet radio. The programme runs on Tuesdays, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm US Estern Standard time.
