You Can Now Make Online Payments Via Nairobi City County Web Portal

Kenyans can now make online payments for single business permits and land rates online by just a click, thanks to the newly launched Nairobi City County web portal.

In a statement made on his Facebook page, Dr. Evans Kidero, Governor of Nairobi stated, "Welcome to the Nairobi City County web portal. It's now much easier to access and retrieve public information and make online payments."

The portal on its homepage photo showcases Nairobi's Uhuru Park (Central Park), which is a recreation park that echoes the city's old slogan 'The Green City in the Sun'. Nairobi residents, tourists, students and business people from all walks of life visit the park everyday for picnics, study, rest and a host of other activities. It is also a venue for public rallies, public events and public holiday celebrations . There is also the Nairobi County logo at the centre. Then on the bottom line, one can see buttons that once clicked on lead to pages such as "About Nairobi", "Explore Nairobi" and the "History of Kenya's Oldest City."

Under "Explore Nairobi" section, one gets to see the major sectors in Nairobi including, the banking sector, transport sectors, tourism sector and much more. Also there are major tourist attraction destinations named including Nairobi National park, located few kilometers from the Nairobi's Central Business District (CBD) and Karura Forest Sanctuary.

The portal also comes with various social media platforms that allow one to share any information from the web on the platforms that are located on the far left hand side. The portal contains information on, Nairobi hospitals, Nairobi's governor history and also Nairobi County Government.

On the homepage there is also main menu button that gives one options on county laws, ePayments, tenders, events, news subcounty administration, map, jobs and resources.

There is also a gallery that contains photos showcasing Nairobi's major attractions including Thika Superhighway, commuter railway service, major shopping malls and much more.
