Lone Star Cell MTN Launches 'Prestige Club' Membership

The management of Lone Star Cell MTN has officially launched its 'Prestige Club' Membership in Monrovia with a promise to provide efficient and affordable services to its numerous customers.

Lone Star Cell MTN is one of the best telecommunication companies operating in Liberia.

The Prestige Club is an exclusive club of loyal high value Customers of Lonestar Cell MTN, who have distinguished themselves by their exceptional loyalty and patronage to the company.

The event, according to Lonestar Cell MTN, was intended to show appreciation to her value customers for their loyalty and patronage over the years.

This elaborate and exquisite program was held at the Monrovia city Hall and was broadcast live on several local radio stations.

The event was graced by very high profile personalities including the Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Dr. Frederick Norkeh among others.

Speaking during the launch, Min. Norkeh acknowledged the pivotal role Lone Star Cell MTN continued to play in the telecommunication sector of Liberia.

He said Lone Star Cell has encouraged promotion and competition through the provision of good quality services to its valuable subscribers.

He noted that the Prestige Club launched by the company is very significant, stating: "It distinguishes those who are loyal from those who are not."

Speaking further, the Post and Telecommunication Minister call on other GSM companies to follow the footprint of Lone Star Cell MTN.

He pointed out that the Government of Liberia (GOL) will continue to support GSM companies operating in the country by providing the necessary policies and programs.

"I want to thank Lone Star Cell MTN for inviting me here this evening to share this wonderful platform with them. In this sector I think it is important for us to encourage promotion and recognize the good quality of your services; and to also make sure that customers are satisfied. It is important for a Prestige Club because it distinguishes those who are loyal from those who are not. It also serves as an important vehicle to encourage others in the same field," said Min. Norkeh.

"As government, we encourage competition and free enterprise. As a policy maker from that perspective, we are always excited when we see that businesses are looking in that direction. And we hope that other GSM companies will follow the footprint of Lone Star Cell MTN," he amongst other things stated.

Also speaking, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lone Star Cell MTN, Mr. Tebogo Mogapi reaffirmed the company's commitment to providing affordable services to its many subscribers.

He said the success story of the company is accredited to its loyal customers.

According to him, the loyalty of Lone Star Cell MTN subscribers over the years has enabled the company to move into "remotest areas" in Liberia."

"You are here because you have fit the criteria; the fact that you are loyal customers. We are who we are; we are where we are in terms of business because it is you that put your money into this business to enable us go into some of the most remotest areas in Liberia. We thanked you for your loyalty and support," he stated.

Presenting the prizes at the event, Mr. Sekou Barry, Lonestar Cell MTN's Chief Marketing Officer, said emphatically that Lonestar Cell MTN customers, who have stayed loyal to the company for five years and beyond and those who have stayed for ten (10) years and beyond with the highest spent have each started receiving free credits on their phones.

He pledged the company's commitment to continue this offer.

Meanwhile, the occasion also featured Miss Margaret Cephas, first winner in the Project Fame Competition held in Nigeria recently, who thrilled the audience with her golden voice.

Among the many valuable customers that have benefitted from this reciprocity of Lonestar Cell MTN included those in the Platinum, Premium, Elite categories and those that have continuously used the services for the last ten (10) years and more.
