Cellcom Liberia Drastically Reduces Prices of Its Mobile Services

MONROVIA - The Management of Cellcom GSM Company Thursday, January 23, 2014 announced a major reduction in the prices of its mobile devices.

Cellcom is regarded as one of the leading GSM companies in the country.

According to the management of Cellcom, the drastic cut in the prices of its mobile services would enable the average Liberians, including students to have access to affordable and quality communication.

As a boost to this latest campaign, the management says the data allocation has also increased.

The management of the GSM company says it is not only interested in making profit, but it also interested in giving back to Liberian people, particularly its customers because this is the reason it broke the monopoly in the Liberian communication sector few years ago.

The announcement regarding the huge cut in the prices of Cellcom mobile services was made at a press conference held at the head offices of the company on Capitol Bye-Pass, Monrovia.

Since Cellcom came to Liberia, it has been heavily involved in series of initiatives aimed at improving the livelihood of the Liberian people, particularly those who are subscribing to it.

Accordingly, the 10 WiFi devices, each of which was previously for $49, is now being sold for $39.

As for the 4G NetStick (Black in color), it is now being for sold for $19. It was previously sold for $25.

The 4G Net Stick (White in color) is now being sold for $9. It was previously sold for $19.

With the huge reduction in the prices of its mobile, the management hopes that every Liberian will make maximum use of its empowering Liberian campaign so that the Liberian people can have value for their money.

At the same, the management of Cellcom has selected several young people to serve as its ambassadors in promoting its products.

These ambassadors will visit school campuses and public areas to advertise the Cellcom products.

Meanwhile, the management of Cellcom through its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. John VasiKaran, has reaffirmed the company's continued commitment to the rejuvenation of the Liberian nation and people.

He pointed out that the company will always engage into undertakings aimed at making positive impacts on the lives of the Liberian people.

Among other things, he reassured the Liberian Government and people that Cellcom is here to stay and will always be #1.
